We liked the location, walking distance to the main plaza, with its bars cafes & restaurants. We didnt have a meal at the hotel so cannot comment. Our room was on the first floor facing the road, we had air con & a huge bathroom. Very pleasant.
Everything was good.

Proximity to the centre of Chinchon. Staff friendly. No hidden extra charges. The advertised price was the price I paid.

The location in Chinchon was excellent and it had free parking which is always a bonus in Spain. The room was very pleasant with loads of space and a decent shower room. We ate in the 'caves' restaurant and had an excellent meal. The 'caves' were blissfully cool and as the temperature was 35 degrees at 9.00 at night it was a welcome relief. The owner spoke excellent English and was really interesting to talk to.
The bedside lights were almost hanging off from the fixings and had I wanted to read it would have been impossible - fortunately the large amount of wine and brandy consumed meant that reading was not an option. I am sure that had I made any type of complaint to the owner he would have changed our room. As we were only there for an over night stop it wasn't really an issue.

A hotel with character located in a beautiful, quaint town close to Madrid but away from the "busy-ness" of the big city, a fantastic restaurant (dining in the cueva is a must!) located right in the hotel; close to Plaza Mayor (town centre), Parador, historic buildings, cafes and restaurants...
